Me and some amazing volunteers got to hang at at South La Animal Shelter and take some pics of some babies who need rescuing, adopting and most of all so much lovin!

The summer time is the worst time for the shelters; high intake, not enough kennel room, blazing hot and mucho fleas.
A1783887 Meet Batz! Batz is a ten-pound, ten-year-old Min Pin with a heck of a personality and a lot of love to give. He is in medical so he is away from the public’s eye, but he is chipper and spritely as can be! Batz loves to lay in your arms like a baby, give kisses, eat treats, and receive butt scratches. A0911437 Meet Jamie! This hairy Pit is as sweet as they come. She has a great low energy and is as sweet as can be. Jamie has some dated scarring on her face and feet—what a life she must have lived before coming to the shelter. Despite it all, she is kind and gentle, and she gets along with other dogs when introduced properly. Jamie has a LOT of love to give despite her age (around 11 years), and she can’t wait to meet you!
